The National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes

The shrine stands in the middle of the Grotto. Its original construction was overseen by Father John A. Waterson in 1875. Visitors may light candles and leave donations. Benches surround the shrine for outdoor masses and solitary prayer. Not far from the Shrine is the rock where Mother Seton sat as she conducted classes.
